Although many commercially published Revelation studies are readily available for small group study, we found that none contained the detail of background information we desired. In 1999, we first began the process of compiling supplemental research materials, continuing to edit and accumulate additional information throughout subsequent years. Our collection of enrichment materials was utilized alongside various commercial studies until 2009, when we authored our own Revelation Bible study book, which included our documented research information, as well as our original weekly lesson questions. This initial study has been classroom-tested multiple times, and was reviewed and edited in 2013 to arrive at its finalized, published edition.
Non-denominational in nature, this course’s primary objective is to study the actual text of Revelation, with particular focus upon its redemptive message. In the process of that study, additional light will be shed by the examination of such topics as the background and fulfillment of prophecy, and Revelation as apocalyptic literature.
